CU Promise is a signature offering by CUSO Home Lending, a licensed mortgage company owned by Maine credit unions. Since 1993, we’ve been at the forefront of providing exceptional mortgage solutions underpinned by extraordinary courtesy and unparalleled service. In order for us to guarantee the closing date the following is required: All loan conditions required from you and/or the seller or real estate broker (including but not limited to income/asset information, repairs to property, and unresolved title issues) must be received 10 days prior to the chosen closing date. In compliance with the TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure Rule, also known as “Know Before you Owe” rule: The Closing Disclosure must be acknowledged by you no later than three (3) business days before the closing. If the actual terms or costs of the transaction change prior to closing, a corrected Closing Disclosure that contains the actual terms of the transaction will be provided. If a corrected disclosure is provided, we may also be required to provide you with an additional three-business day waiting period prior to closing (i.e. the disclosed APR becomes inaccurate or the loan product changes).
